How We Handle Your Data
We’re GDPR-compliant, a global standard since 2018 that protects your rights to consent, access, and more. Here’s why we use your data:

The Service
Your Access
During your subscription, use Atwork for business or personal needs as outlined in our Documentation and Agreement. Copy and use the Software within those limits.
Users
Only authorized users get in. Keep logins private and tell us ASAP if they’re compromised. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
Admins
Appoint admins to manage your account or content – their actions are on you.
Affiliates
Your affiliates can join as users or sign their own deals with us. Each agreement stands alone.
Work Email Sign-Up
Using a company email? You confirm you’re authorized, and your employer might manage or restrict your account.
Sharing Control
You decide who sees your Boards. We’re not liable for what others do with content you share.
Your Responsibilities
Don’t:
- Share or sell the Service.
- Build rival products or hack into our code.
- Disrupt, modify, or misuse the platform.
- Send illegal or harmful content.
- Mislead about ownership or act unethically.
Your Content
Our Role
You give us a non-exclusive right to use, store, and tweak your content – but only to run the Service and support you.
Security
We use top-tier measures (see our Security Policy) to protect your data. If a breach hits, we’ll notify you within 72 hours and fix it fast.
Your Duty
Ensure your content is accurate and legal. You’ve got the rights to use it with us, and we’re not liable for prohibited data (e.g., HIPAA-regulated info) or high-risk uses.
Data Retention
We keep your data only as long as needed – typically 90 days post-termination – then delete it securely. Backups may linger up to 30 days, still under this policy’s protection.
Account Takeover
We may let you claim individual accounts under your domain, if you’ve got the rights.
Third Parties
We use trusted subcontractors (e.g., cloud providers) to deliver Atwork, but they’re bound to our strict standards. Integrations you add (like third-party platforms) follow your deals with those providers – we keep our side locked down.
Suspension
We may pause your access if:
- You break this policy or miss payments by 10+ days.
- Your actions risk the Service or others.
We’ll warn you when possible and restore access once it’s sorted.

Pricing & Taxes
Fees are in your Order. You’ll cover approved expenses and taxes (not our income tax). Pay within 30 days, or late fees kick in at 1.5% monthly or the legal max.
Our Promise

- Support and technical services are pro-grade.
If we slip, we’ll fix it within 60 days or refund unused fees – that’s your remedy.

Disclaimers
Beyond our promises, the Service is “as is.” We don’t guarantee zero downtime, third-party fit, or data retention. Internet delays aren’t on us.
Termination
This starts on the Effective Date and runs 90 days past your last subscription. End it with 90 days’ notice or for cause (e.g., breach). No refunds unless we mess up our warranty.
Ownership & Feedback
Your content is yours; the Service is ours. We use usage data to improve, and your ideas are free for us to run with.
Liability
We’re not liable for indirect losses (e.g., lost profits) or claims beyond what you paid us in the last year, unless law says otherwise.
Indemnification
We’ll defend you against IP claims tied to the Service. You’ll defend us against issues from your content or breaches. Quick notice and cooperation are key.
Confidentiality
We guard each other’s secrets, sharing only as needed here. Public info or stuff we already knew doesn’t count.
Updates
We may tweak this policy with notice – changes hit at renewal unless you object within 30 days. Then, you can keep the old terms ‘til your term ends or exit with a refund.
